Depending on how confident and fit a cyclist you are, there are a range of destinations that can be accessed by bike from Kings Park.
The Kings Park development is close to the centre of Drighlington, where you’ll find a Co-op, several restaurants, pubs and cafes, and other amenities, all just a few minutes’ cycle ride away. The closest primary schools are also around a 5-minute cycle journey away, meaning you could even try doing the school run by bike!
Morley takes just over 15 minutes to reach by bike and provides an even wider range of amenities, including a Morrisons, a leisure centre, various medical centres and schools. Morley train station is a similar distance away and has ample cycle storage available, with frequent services to a range of destinations. Check out our post on local public transport options for more info.
More proficient cyclists may also be interested in tackling the 45 minute trip into Leeds city centre – the route there is mainly downhill, meaning the cycle journey back from Leeds may take longer than the journey there!
